Oh my I have been a horrible blogger these days! I am slightly ashamed at how far behind I have been with my bumpdates. Better late than never I suppose.
How far along?: Currently 36 Weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Stretch marks: Sadly over the last few weeks I have developed a few more along the right side of my belly. The same area our little man likes to hang out. Luckily I only have a few and none of them are crazy so hopefully they will fade quickly after birth.
Sleep: Around 35 weeks our little man dropped a bit and I have since had improved sleep. He is no longer making a punching bag out of my ribs and sleeping has come a little easier.
Best moment(s) these last weeks: The nursery is now 99% complete! I have also been showered with love for this little man. We have had 3 more baby showers since my last post. I am so thankful for all the lovely ladies in my life! We also finished our birth class.
Miss anything?: Not being swollen. The third trimester has kicked me right in the throat. I now experience inflammation in my feet daily (yay puffy ankles…not!). And sitting, bending…moving in general has become a chore. Luckily I can still get around pretty well considering. Needless to say I am looking forward to this little man making his arrival soon.
Movement: Yes yes yes!
Food Cravings: Cereal
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nothing new.
Labor signs: Over the last week I have had a few bouts of contractions. Nothing serious but definitely uncomfortable enough to tell me they are not Braxton Hicks.
Belly button in or out?: Out, out, out
Wedding rings on or off?: Off. Sadly. I can’t wait to put them back on.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Little man’s arrival!!
Exercising still?: I am making an effort to get to the gym at least a few times each week. Unfortunately over the last 2 weeks I have been slammed at work getting the last pieces in order before I say “see ya!” for 12 weeks. These extra meetings and longer days have left me too tired to get to the gym. I am trying to do some sort of lifting at home each week if possible.
