    29 Weeks

We found out last week that little man is laying in the transverse position. Our doctor says it is nothing to worry about right now but if he doesn’t flip by 34 weeks we might have to take action. Nothing puts time flying by into perspective like your doctor talking birth options! I am really hoping to avoid having a c-section birth if possible so I have started trying some natural “flip-yo-baby” methods that I found  on Spinning Babies. So far the hanging out upside down hasn’t convinced little man to move but I am hopeful he will make his move soon. How far along?: 29 Weeks Total weight gain:…

    Christmas Picture Fun

In true holiday-loving form I have been excited about our Christmas cards for some time now and two weeks ago when we got our first bit of cover-the-ground-and-make-everything-pretty snow I knew it was time to drag dear hubs outside and snap some Christmas-y pictures. Thankfully the hubs was a real trooper and spent nearly an hour outside in the cold with me snapping pictures. I decided to just use our DSLR camera to snap these photos to see what we ended up with. Even though Hubs wasn’t a fan of the cold, we had some fun out in the snow. I sure do love this man! And what’s the fun…

    23 and 24 Weeks

Between the holidays and the end of the year work load I feel like I’ve lost the last three weeks of my life. It feels only a few days have passed and yet we are only a few weeks away from 2014! On one hand I am so excited to meet our little man, but on the other, I am sad at the idea of not being pregnant. I am not sure why [and I am…

    Our Easy Gender Reveal Party

This last week has been quite eventful. On Wednesday we had our 20 week anatomy ultrasound where we found out that our lil babe was healthy and growing like crazy. We also learned that our little one is stubborn as it did not want to show us its business. But after some position changes and prodding by the ultrasound tech we finally got to see what we were looking for. Over the weekend we ventured to visit our families and share the good news. We then decided to put together a small gender reveal party at our place on Saturday night to tell our friends. The night was low-key but…
